Notable Men Interviews

The Interviews

Long-form cover stories and candid Q&A conversations with the founders, executives, and leaders shaping business, culture, and what comes next.

The Interviews are the slow section of Notable Men. Elsewhere the site moves quickly: essays are published, episodes are released, masterclasses go live. Here we keep the conversations that take longer to make and longer to read, with the founders, executives, and leaders shaping business, culture, and what comes next.

Two formats live under this heading. Cover Stories are long-form profiles of the men redefining their fields: one man, one story, told in full, with the photography and the framing a cover deserves. The Q&A is the other side of the same coin, a candid conversation in the subject's own words on building and leading, kept close to how it was spoken so the voice survives. Both begin with the work. Our editors look for men whose work explains itself and who can articulate why it matters, and an interview is where the second half of that standard is tested.

Every feature starts with a conversation. The questions are about the decisions that shaped a career rather than the headlines that followed them: the early hire that went wrong, the product that had to be rebuilt, the moment the original plan stopped working. What reaches the page is drawn from that exchange.

The men featured here come from different industries and different stages. Some run companies with hundreds of employees; some are building a second or third venture; some have spent decades mastering a craft that has nothing to do with software or finance. What they share is a body of work that stands on its own and a willingness to talk about how it was built, including the parts that did not go to plan.

Use this page as the front door. The newest cover story sits at the top, the latest Q&A conversations follow, and the two format pages hold the complete archives. If you are a founder or leader with a story that belongs here, the Be Featured link at the top of every page explains how to put your name forward.
