The Masterclasses.

The Masterclasses are practical, hard-won wisdom from the men who have actually done it: sessions on building, leading, investing, and living, taught by founders, operators, and craftsmen at the top of their fields, and recorded so they can be watched when you need them rather than when they happened to be scheduled.

Every class is built around something the teacher has done, not something he has read about. A founder who has raised capital teaches how the first term sheet actually gets negotiated. An operator who has scaled a team teaches the hiring rule he wishes he had learned earlier. A craftsman teaches the process behind the finish. The brief for every teacher is the same: show up with the version you would tell a friend who was about to attempt it, including the mistakes.

Each masterclass is recorded with a producer, an editor, and full creative direction; the teacher shows up prepared and our team handles the rest. The finished class joins the permanent library, referenced, revisited, and viewed for years, and it is cross-promoted across the journal, the podcast, and the homepage so it reaches the audience it was made for.

That audience is the reason the classes exist. The people watching are founders, operators, and professionals who came here to learn, not to be sold to, and the sessions are held to that standard.

Each class page carries a summary of the session and an introduction to the man teaching it, so you can choose where to begin.
