IN HIS OWN WORDS

The Q and A

  1. 01

What do you attribute your success to?

My success comes from my family, especially my wife who handles the accounting and supports me greatly, along with my parents who raised me with strong values and taught me important lessons like how to treat guests. Even my dog teaches me about forgiveness and moving on quickly. I also credit the many great people I've met along the way who recognized my potential early on.

  2. 02

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Education is a must. My father always told me that people can rob you of money but not your knowledge. Reading is very important too, as it makes you think in different ways and can take you a long way. Education makes the career follow, and in India we have the saying that Lakshmi the money follows Sarasvati the knowledge.

  3. 03

What advice would you give to young men entering your industry?

Don't take shortcuts. The long way is harder but it is permanent. Work through every step, do a lot of research on the current market and future opportunities, and don't say no to anything. Focus on one thing you like the most rather than jumping between ideas, and always be learning.

  4. 04

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenge is not believing everything you hear and avoiding preconceived notions about people, instead keeping an open mind. Opportunities include creating sensory toys and indoor play areas here in the USA instead of importing from China, which could increase employment and better serve the new generation with shorter attention spans through holistic approaches like yoga or reiki.

  5. 05

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Honesty, trust, faith, respect, and accountability are most important. Be honest even when you make a mistake, own it instead of blaming others, and give respect to receive it. These values apply both professionally and personally, including in marriage and family life.
