My name is James Gamble. I am 44 years old, and I have survived a life of physical abuse, verbal abuse, neglect, alcohol addiction, and mental health struggles.
I was raised in a dysfunctional family and abusive homes. I was given alcohol in a baby bottle as an infant, which contributed to the difficult and traumatic life I experienced.
I lived a rough and traumatic life until I found sobriety and the recovery rooms. Now, I help people, and I no longer use my story as an excuse. Instead, I use it as a cautionary tale—a reminder that anyone can change their life.
