Stephen Albert Mannion

Stephen Mannion, Ph.D., is a pastor and church historian with extensive experience in Christian ministry, nonprofit management, community engagement, and outreach. He currently serves as Lead Pastor of The Church in Alexander in Alexander, New York, where he provides pastoral leadership and works to strengthen the church community through preaching, spiritual development, and service. His ministry background also includes pastoral leadership at Clarence Global Methodist Church, Faith United Methodist Church, Emmanuel United Methodist Church, and Irwin First United Methodist Church. Dr. Mannion holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Church History from Newburgh Theological Seminary and College, with a dissertation focused on Wesleyan class and band meetings, reflecting his interest in historical approaches to Christian discipleship and community formation. He also earned a Master of Theological Studies from Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary. Throughout his ministry career, he has developed programs, strengthened volunteer engagement, coordinated events, supported fundraising initiatives, and used social media and other digital platforms to expand community outreach.
