He also serves as a Creative Digital Specialist with Coldwell Banker Vanguard Realty, where he creates marketing materials, digital content, advertisements, videos, and branded assets that support the company’s agents and marketing initiatives. Johnson’s passion for design was strengthened through his education and early creative experiences. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and Digital Media from the University of North Florida and an undergraduate certificate in Website Design from DeVry University, graduating summa cum laude. His creative work has received recognition through awards including the Creative Arts Award for his "Broken Pieces" series and first place in DeVry University’s Explore Your Future Logo Contest. His photography and design work have also been featured in exhibitions and publications, including the Yellow House Art Gallery, Voyage Jacksonville Magazine, and Jacksonville’s BUZZ. His work reflects a belief that design should do more than look good—it should tell a story, build recognition, and help businesses connect with their audiences. At Impact Church - Jacksonville, he serves as a Team Lead Photographer, mentoring volunteer photographers and collaborating with creative and social media teams to strengthen the church’s visual presence. He also teaches photography to students through his Credit Crew small group. Johnson attributes much of his success to the support of his community and the relationships he has built through networking with fellow entrepreneurs. IN HIS OWN WORDS

The Q and A

  1. 01

What do you attribute your success to?

My success is rooted in the community and the people who have supported me throughout my journey. Connecting with other entrepreneurs at networking events helped me learn how to promote my business, build confidence, and put myself out there. I’m especially grateful to the friends and community members who supported me in moving to Jacksonville and attending the University of North Florida. Their encouragement and support have played an important role in helping me become who I am today.

  2. 02

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Put God first, and He will take care of the rest. Be patient and trust Him. He will take care of everything in your life.

  3. 03

What advice would you give to young men entering your industry?

My advice to others is to be yourself and stay true to who you are rather than trying to copy someone else’s path to success. Work hard, do your research, and take the time to clearly define your business goals. Most importantly, put God first in everything you do and trust that He will guide you and work things out along the way.

  4. 04

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenge is the rise of AI in graphic design and photography, which can remove the human emotion and creativity from the work. On the other hand, entrepreneurship provides the opportunity to be your own boss, have creative freedom, and work with businesses from other states while building confidence and trusting in your abilities.

  5. 05

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that are most important to me are integrity, responsibility, respect, and personal growth. I believe in doing the right thing, taking responsibility for my actions, and treating others with kindness and respect. I also value being dependable, building good relationships, learning from challenges, and always doing my best.
