Peyton A. Sibert, AS

Peyton A. Sibert, AS, is the Founder and Managing Member of STRIX Intercept Systems LLC, an early-stage defense technology company dedicated to developing innovative counter-uncrewed aircraft system (counter-UAS) solutions for defense and national security applications. He specializes in unmanned aircraft systems, aerospace defense, prototype development, simulation-based validation, and emerging defense technologies. His work focuses on creating scalable, modular solutions designed to improve operational readiness and address evolving aerial security threats. Before founding STRIX Intercept Systems, Peyton served for nine years in the U.S. Army, where he gained extensive operational experience while serving in multiple assignments, including overseas deployments and international training missions. Following his military service, he continued supporting defense readiness through medical simulation training before transitioning into entrepreneurship. He earned Associate of Science degrees in both Uncrewed Technologies and Firearms Technology from Sonoran Desert Institute and pursued additional studies in Computer Science with an emphasis in Software Engineering. He also holds several professional credentials, including an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot License, Gunsmithing Certificate, Unmanned Technology Certificate, Army Basic Leader Course, Brigade Combat Trauma Training (BCT3), and Certified Unit Movement Officer. Today, Peyton is focused on advancing next-generation counter-UAS technologies through research, engineering, and strategic product development. His responsibilities include technical concept development, SBIR/STTR readiness, prototype planning, investor preparation, and commercialization strategy for future government and defense industry partnerships. In addition to his professional work, he volunteers with Operation Stand Down Tennessee, supporting housing and outreach initiatives for veterans. His career reflects a commitment to innovation, service, and developing technologies that strengthen national defense while helping protect both military personnel and civilian communities.
