Luke Wonnacott is a financial planning professional and Financial Planner and Team Lead at PROFi – Professional Financial Planning. With a strong foundation in finance and wealth management, he focuses on helping individuals and families make informed financial decisions, optimize their investments, and develop strategies designed to build and preserve long-term wealth. His areas of expertise include financial planning, retirement planning, personal tax planning, estate planning, insurance, and investment management.
Before advancing into his current leadership role, Luke gained valuable experience as an Associate Financial Advisor at PROFi, a Paraplanner at Smart Financial, and a Wealth Management Intern at Arnold Financial Services. His experience includes supporting client meetings, analyzing investment portfolios, assisting with Roth IRA conversions and qualified charitable distributions, researching tax and retirement strategies, and managing client relationships. He also holds an Enrolled Agent credential issued by the Internal Revenue Service and a Notary Public Commission from the State of Utah.
Luke earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Wealth Management from Brigham Young University, where he also served as Vice President of Finance for the BYU Finance Society’s Wealth Management Association. Beyond his professional work, he has demonstrated a commitment to service and community involvement through volunteer leadership, including serving as a Full-time Volunteer Representative and leading community service initiatives. His approach to financial planning combines technical knowledge, practical strategy, and a genuine commitment to helping clients make their money work more effectively while preparing for their future.
