John Rajotte, MBA, SHRM-CP

John Rajotte is a healthcare administration and human resources leader with more than 20 years of experience in healthcare, operations, recruiting, and people management.

John began his healthcare career in 2005 with Gurwin, a mission-driven nonprofit healthcare organization on Long Island. Over the course of 15 years, he held a variety of roles that gave him broad exposure to healthcare operations and, more importantly, the opportunity to learn from exceptional leaders and colleagues. Those experiences helped him develop the people and relationship-building skills that have remained central to his career. Gurwin's commitment to high-quality care and serving the community provided an important foundation for his leadership philosophy.

Following the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, John made the decision to pivot into home care, joining BAYADA. The transition challenged him to operate in a fast-paced environment involving high-volume recruiting and the management of a substantial caseload of 24/7 home-care clients throughout Suffolk County. The experience strengthened his skills in leadership, recruiting, problem-solving, client management, and adapting to rapidly changing circumstances. BAYADA's emphasis on compassionate, high-quality care and supporting people in their homes further reinforced his belief in the importance of putting people first.

Today, John serves as an HR leader at Marotta Plastic Surgery Specialists, where he combines his passion for people with organizational strategy and growth. He is involved in recruiting, employee development, policy and process development, organizational improvement, and strategic direction. He was particularly drawn to MarottaMD because of its mission and values, including its emphasis on patient-centered care, continuous improvement, teamwork, and personal growth.

Throughout his career, John's approach has remained consistent: build genuine relationships, develop great people, embrace change, and continually look for ways to make an organization better.
