Dillip Panda

Dillip Panda is the founder of Orbit Value AI, his own startup offering a hybrid strategy and execution model for small and medium businesses in the AI space. Based in Plainsboro, New Jersey, his specialty is IT consulting and services. He began his career in 1998 in a developer role, creating the internet for G Capital Inventory Finance, and progressed through roles in delivery, client engagement, and consulting partnerships at firms such as Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, IBM, Microsoft, Salesforce, and Infosys. Panda's expertise spans AI and cloud transformation, go-to-market strategies, and financial services sectors including banking, insurance, wealth management, and capital markets. He holds a bachelor's degree with honors as a topper from Utkal University in Orissa, a master's in civil engineering with distinction from the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore where he contributed to pipeline engineering software, and recent credentials in digital business strategy and AI product design and strategy from MIT, plus certifications in Azure and Salesforce. Beyond his professional work, Panda has volunteered to productize community health initiatives with a non-profit during COVID and is developing a care coordination platform for Indian families with a focus on cancer care initiatives. He advises that changing jobs across top firms, rather than staying comfortable in one place, helped build his broad skills and expertise despite the effort involved.
