Daniel Malak

Daniel Malak is the Co-Founder and CEO of Pineapple Family, a family-building platform supporting independent surrogacy and egg donation journeys for intended parents, surrogates, and egg donors.

He co-founded the company alongside his husband, Joshua Brost, and Sam Martin, a three-time surrogate who carried for Daniel and Joshua’s family twice. The company was born from their firsthand experiences navigating the challenges and lack of transparency within the traditional surrogacy system.

Prior to Pineapple Family, Daniel spent more than a decade leading growth, demand generation, and go-to-market strategy for high-growth technology companies across AI, SaaS, and enterprise hardware. Today, his work focuses on building infrastructure for modern family creation, with an emphasis on making surrogacy and egg donation more transparent, empowering, and accessible.
